THE CHALLENGE:

The main challenge we faced was that the handrail had to meet structural load regulations, and that people were able to use the walkway safely and night time.

THE SOLUTION:

We approached a market leader Q Rail who specialise in proprietary handrails and provided our client with a product that incorporated a designed for a handrail with built in lights.

Features included:

• Aluminium or aluminium with stainless steel effect
• Infill glass thickness: 15 – 21.52 mm
• LED strips for warm white light, cold white light or coloured light
• High-grade plastic profiles that cover the LED strips to prevent dazzle
• Adapter system that can turn a standard cap rail into a lighted handrail – combinable with nearly every Q-railing handrail bracket
